You’ll never buy dried pasta from the store again after trying this deliciously simple recipe for fresh pasta. The best part, it only takes 4 ingredients.
- 2 cups flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 Tablespoons Bacon Fat
- ¼ Salt
Put Flour, eggs, bacon fat and salt into a standup mixer and mix on medium speed until combined.
Bacon Fat really adds an extra level of tastiness to the final product, we also use it in these recipes:
Turn out onto a floured surface and knead until soft dough forms. Cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate, for at least 30 mins. (I like to leave my dough in the fridge over-night so that the gluten strands have enough time to relax.
If dough is to wet, add more flour. If it’s to dry add a tablespoon of water, one at a time.This goes great with our red sauce recipe!
